This does not mean you should just go out and pick a random stranger to get busy with (although it is YOUR body, do what you want), but you don’t have to feel guilty about having too much sex.
That being said, you should make sure you’re using safe practices like:

- Getting regular check-ups
- Making sure both parties consent 100% of the time
Being healthy should not stop and start in the bedroom. With this, you should also make sure you are putting healthy foods in your body, drinking plenty of water, and getting some sort of physical activity.

I have been repeating this because it is probably the most exciting way you can get in a workout today. Sexual activity burns about five calories per minute, depending on the length of time, movements, and how sweaty you get (are you changing positions or just laying despondently?).
Your heart starts pumping faster, which can boost your metabolism and burn off even more calories.
Think about it for a second. You are engaging different muscles all over your body while working up a sweat and hearing your heartbeat through your chest.
Doesn’t this sound like a workout?
It might not shed pounds as fast as running would, but, in my opinion, it is definitely more of an enjoyable act than some of the workouts out there. Have you ever worn your Fitbit while in the bedroom? Even this little device picks it up as exercise.
Sex can relieve pain and anxiety.
Your orgasm can actually help block pain and reduce anxiety, something we can all get on board with. When you orgasm, you release several hormones that do different beneficial things to your body.

This sex benefit is one that I can personally attest to. I have had irregular periods since I was 13 and had a horrible time trying to get them on a regular cycle. While I have other health issues that cause this, I realized that regular intercourse did, in fact, make a difference.

Studies have shown that people who engaged in intercourse were more likely to live longer than those who did not. Again, it might not be the most fabulous pickup line, but it is definitely something to factor in!
This doesn’t just mean penetration, either. As long as you are hitting that big O, you are getting all these great health benefits from your sex session. Believe it or not, masturbation can be healthy for your relationship as well.
